CRE英文運用
每份試題有40條問題，涵蓋以下範圍：
I. Comprehension (10 questions)
This section aims to test candidates' ability to comprehend a written text. A prose passage of non-technical background is cited. Candidates are required to exercise skills in deciding on the gist, identifying main points, drawing inferences, distinguishing facts from opinion, interpreting figurative language, etc.
II. Error Identification (10 questions)
Knowledge on use of the language is tested through identification of language errors which may be lexical, grammatical or stylistic.
III. Sentence Completion (10 questions)
In this section, candidates are required to fill in the blanks with the best options given. The questions focus on grammatical use.
IV. Paragraph Improvement (10 questions)
In this section, two draft passages are cited. For each passage, questions are set to test candidates' skills in improving the draft. The focus of the questions is on writing skills, not power of understanding

每份試題有45條問題，涵蓋以下範圍：
(一)閱讀理解
I.文章閱讀(8題)
在這部分，考生須閱讀一篇題材與日常生活或工作有關的文章，然後回答問題。題目在於測試考生在理解和掌握文章意旨、深層意義、辨別事實與意見、詮釋資料等方面的能力。
II.片段╱語段閱讀(6題)
這部分是測試考生在閱讀個別片段╱語段時能否理解該段文字的含義或引申出來的觀點，找出支持或否定某些觀點的選項，或選出最能概括該段文字的一句話等。
(二)字詞辨識(8題)
這部分旨在測試考生對漢字的認識或辨認簡化字的能力。
(三)句子辨析(8題)
這部分旨在考核考生對中文語法的認識，辨析句子結構、邏輯、用詞、組織等能力。
(四)詞句運用(15題)
這部分旨在測試考生對詞語及句子運用的能力。
